Photo Resources

Photo Requests

We have created a collection of photos for Emory communicators to use on their websites, social media, printed materials and promotional campaigns that includes the most popular stock photos. The images are house on PhotoShelter, which is a searchable digital asset management system for faculty and staff.

Follow the link below to create a free PhotoShelter account:

Once you’ve created an account, please email Hallie Edwards (hallie.w.edwards@emory.edu) and let her know. She will then give you access and permissions to download images.

Not all images reside in PhotoShelter. Special requests from the image archive will be charged at a $95 per hour rate to account for production time by EPV staff.  The person/school/unit that is downloading the images will be responsible for any appropriate approvals for use of the photos, including as it pertains to COVID-19 protocols for published imagery. These images are for editorial use only. If you plan to use these images in any form of advertising or commercial use, please contact EPV first as there may be licensing issues that need to be addressed. Finally, EPV will not take responsibility for this unless it is being used directly for C&M. Requests are fulfilled in a first come-first serve basis.

Emory University photos shot prior to 1985 are managed by the University archivist in the Stuart A. Rose Manuscript, Archives, and Rare Book Library.  Please visit https://libraries.emory.edu/rose to request archival photos.
