Emory's Veterans Program

The Emory's Veterans Program offers an intensive outpatient treatment program for post-9/11 veterans. The program is designed as a comprehensive, two-week treatment program that aims to reduce the symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder, while helping veterans re-engage in daily life. Earlier this year, Matt and Crystal Barnes were interviewed by TV anchor Monica Pearson about how the program has impacted them. Matt Barnes is a former Marine and former Emory Healthcare Veterans Program patient who attended the opening ceremony and shared his story with those in attendance. The OGCA team continues its work to spread the word about the program among state and congressional delegations.
