
Serving the university community for more than 50 years, Emory Photo/Video provides documentary, news, editorial and event photography, as well as Emory stock imagery and fine-art prints.
Our video services include SD or HD single camera lectures, multi-camera events, documentaries, profiles, and promotional videos. We feature turnkey production for our wide screen or any digital platform, such as the Web iTunesU or YouTube. We make and locate photos for Emory's numerous publications and websites, provide digital imaging services, and maintain an online image archive of thousands of Emory-related photos.
Our award-winning photographers document the life of Emory University with original photography for the entire university. From lectures to commencement to celebrity faculty visits, our photographers are there to capture the moment. Images are used for web and print, including various campus publications and periodicals such as undergraduate admissions materials, Emory Magazine and www.emory.edu. Images are also available for general use to the Emory community in the stock image collection. These include campus scenes, buildings and faculty and administrative portraits.
Our video producer assembles a highly skilled and efficient team dedicated to your production needs. Services include pre-production consultation, budgeting, HD or SD videography, simple and motion graphics, digitizing, script-writing, editing, and uploading your material to DVD or any web platform.

Ann Borden, Director
Ann has been photographing the people, places, and events of the Emory community since 1982. She is a photojournalism graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia Journalism School. Ann provides both still photography and video production support for a wide variety of clients, including the Center for Women, Candler School of Theology, and the Emory Alumni Association. Ann has received various National Press Photographers Association and Council for the Support and Advancement of Education awards, as well as the Emory Award of Distinction, the University's highest staff honor.
Mary Callen, Video Producer
Mary earned a BA from the University of Montana–Missoula. Some of her clients include the Emory Alumni Association, School of Medicine, Rollins School of Public Health, University Administration, MARBL, Student Health Services, and Campus Life. In earlier lives, Mary served as assignment editor for CNN International, earning many national awards and Emmys for her role in news, documentary, multicam remote, entertainment and educational programming at WSB-TV and WAGA-TV.
Kay Hinton, Associate Director
Kay is a graduate of the Art Institue of Atlanta. Before coming to Emory in 1990, Kay worked in commercial advertising in Atlanta. Among her clients are Emory College and Oxford College Admission, Emory Magazine, Quadrangle, the Michael C. Carlos Museum, and the Manuscript, Archives, and Rare Books Library (MARBL). Among recent awards, Kay received a bronze Council for the Support and Advancement of Education (CASE) award in the Individual Photo category and a CASE Grand Gold for the MARBL newsletter.
Bryan Meltz, Assistant Director
Bryan graduated with a visual journalism degree from the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California, and in 2005 was the recipient of the Yarka Vendrinska Memorial Scholarship Award for emerging female documentary photographer. Her principal clients include the editors of Emory Report, Public Health Magazine, Nursing Magazine, Emory Family, and Oxford Outlook. In addition to her work at Emory, Bryan has been published in Time, Rolling Stone, The Fader, Vibe, Blender, XXL, Mass Appeal, Rodale and Vice Magazine. Her current personal project on refugee resettlement in Clarkston, Georgia, has been recognized by an International Photography Award, American Photo Images of the Year, the annual Out of the South juried exhibit, and a solo show at Composition Gallery in Atlanta.
Scott Wile, Photo Production Coordinator
Scott is a 1998 graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta with a specialization in photographic imaging. Scott's role includes photo assignment scheduling, assisting the photographers on location shoots, billing, and using his advanced Photoshop skills for the manipulation and retouching of photographs. He also does freelance photography work.
