News Media

News teams based in the university, Health Sciences and Emory Healthcare provide information of public interest to the news media and are available 24/7 to respond to inquiries from media representatives.

These full-service news operations provide websites with news releases, electronic media kits, multimedia with podcast and vodcast packages, and social media tools. News staff also offer assistance in arranging media interviews, including access to the campus and facilities, and establishing prompt connections to students, faculty, researchers and staff experts. Access to an ISDN line and fiber-optic TV studio also is available for the convenience of media outlets.

The offices also produce print and web publications.

University Communications, 1762 Clifton Road, Suite 1000

University Communications creates visibility and public awareness of Emory University through media relations activities. Staff in this office write news releases, work with journalists to cover stories and identify experts at Emory, and oversee an issues management program. This office also publishes Emory Report, the University's official news source.

The Health Sciences Communications office is responsible for working with faculty, administrators and staff throughout the Woodruff Health Sciences Center and Emory Healthcare to disseminate information of public interest to the news media.
