We serve as the primary link between Emory University and the federal government.
We advocate on behalf of Emory’s specific project goals, as well as its larger policy objectives.
We work to maintain productive working relationships with members of Congress, key congressional staff, and representatives of the executive branch and federal agencies. We promote the University’s accomplishments on Capitol Hill and within the administration to improve the federal government's understanding of Emory's many contributions to society.
By working with our internal advisory groups and the national educational, medical and research associations, we drive the process to formulate Emory's policy positions on issues related to higher education and academic and medical research.
